Just like how the numbing chilli peppers have come to embody the Sichuan cuisine, it is the flavours that set Sichuan braised dishes apart from other braised cuisines. Our chefs at Old Cheng Du draw inspiration from the deep wells of wisdom back in Sichuan, China, to make sure that we bring you the most authentic Sichuan flavours in our creations.
Our Sichuan Braised Delights are true to tradition. No preservatives or food additives–just our ingredients in their purest form for the maximum nutrition and balance. Featuring our chefs’ very own recipes, each braised dish is truly a labor of love from cleaning, slicing, marinating, to raising a process that takes hours for braising to be done to perfection.
