ate here on 初三 and was lucky enough to walk in and get seats for 6 pax! this is my first time eating sichuan cuisine and it was a great experience! all the dishes were filling and large portions, but i would highly recommend fish slices in chilli oil (since its boneless & includes juicy bean sprouts)! got the 小辣 so it was manageable (unlike the mapo tofu)
Decent food but not to the point of getting mind blown yet. Dry pot lotus root > mapo tofu > green pepper century egg > ice jelly. Can go again if no where else to eat
I am a fans of Sichuan Cuisine, and Old Chengdu is definitely one of my top list. I want to highlight the taste of the food: its really a perfection of great flavour, texture, spices, and just enough portion! Tips: - Try their chili chicken, you will be amazed!
